We received some big news from HBO’s adaptation of the critically acclaimed video game The Last of Us. The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal is set to star as Joel, a hardened survivor, who is hired to smuggle Ellie out of a quarantine zone.
The acclaimed video game takes place in a dystopian reality where modern civilization has been destroyed. Originally, the job was meant to be a simple extraction for Joel. However, it suddenly becomes a grueling and brutal journey across the US. Fighting for survival, Joel not only has to protect himself but also Ellie who becomes humanity’s last and only hope.
Pedro Pascal shared the exciting news via his Instagram account:
The Mandalorian star even got the blessing from Joel himself- Troy Baker. The esteemed voice actor provided the voice as well as the motion capture for the troubled survivor. Baker shared his support on Instagram with a touching post.
