With the release of any new comic book movie the inevitable question remains: will there be a post-credit scene? Well now we know that answer to that question for Wonder Woman 1984.
Director Patty Jenkins has confirmed that WW84 WILL have a post-credit scene. She also confirmed that scene has been hidden from press screenings to allow for some surprises to remain when fans catch the film either on the big screen or on HBO Max.
Jenkins confirmed the news in an interview with CinemaBlend’s ReelBlend podcast earlier this week saying, “Let that be something to save for the audience.”
“Just because, God forbid, somebody writes about it, you’re like, ‘Well, then what fun was it? Now we should have just attached it to the end of the movie!”
We have just under a week to go until we find out what the scene could contain, perhaps the long-asked-for cameo from original live-action Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter?
