For those planning to streaming Wonder Woman 1984 on Christmas Day, we have some very good news. Warner Bros. has confirmed the DC Films release will be the first HBO Max release available in 4K UHD, Dolby Vision and with Dolby Atmos sound.
When HBO Max launched earlier in the year it arrived to great fanfare for DC fans. But one aspect missing from the platform was the ability to stream any content higher than standard, 1080p, HD.
However late last night, director Patty Jenkins took to Twitter to confirm that Gal Gadot’s second solo outing as Diana Prince will herald a new era for the platform.
“Excited to announce that #WW84 will be the first film on HBO Max available in 4K Ultra HD, HDR 10, Dolby Vision AND Dolby Atmos!” she wrote.
