It seems that among the mountain of delays many people have forgotten about Chaos Walking. Don’t worry, it is still happening. Originally shot way back in 2017, almost 3 years ago, the film finally has its first official poster.
The film is an adaptation of Patrick Ness’ dystopian trilogy and stars Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley. Before looking at the poster, check out the official synopsis:
In the not too distant future, Todd Hewitt (Tom Holland) discovers Viola (Daisy Ridley), a mysterious girl who crash lands on his planet, where all the women have disappeared and the men are afflicted by “the Noise” – a force that puts all their thoughts on display. In this dangerous landscape, Viola’s life is threatened – and as Todd vows to protect her, he will have to discover his own inner power and unlock the planet’s dark secrets.
Sounds pretty interesting, right?
The Lionsgate Instagram account commented on the post with “NEXT WEEK”. It appears as though we will finally be receiving a trailer for the long awaited adaptation. Keep your eyes peeled!
Chaos Walking is due to be released in January 2021. Maybe. Hopefully. Joining the cast alongside Holland and Ridley is Mads Mikkelsen, Nick Jonas, David Oyelowo, and Cynthia Erivo.
