The director of popular horror titles The Descent and Dog Soldiers Neil Marshall has announced that he is set to start work on a new film written by himself titled Lair.
The plot centres around an RAF pilot who gets shot down but manages to escape from a bunker full of biological mutant weapons but unknowingly brings something back to the American base with him.
Marshall has stated that Lair is a return to the full bloodied action horror of the likes of Dog Soldiers and Doomsday. Marshall currently plans to begin shooting around spring with a potential release in 2021, the film as yet has not begun casting and is currently seeking studio distribution.
