First we got a new array of posters and now Disney have spoiled us with a short but sweet trailer for season 2 of The Mandalorian. It is so close now. The second season is just 16 days away and we can’t wait.
Depending on who you are, you may not want to watch the trailer. Some people like going in blind whereas others (like myself) can’t help but click on any link that says “new trailer”. However, Disney have done an amazing job at keeping this season under wraps. Let’s face it, what do we know? Not a lot. Despite three trailers now we’ve still been left in the dark.
This comment is by no means a criticism but this trailer gives us nothing. Instead, it revels in teasing us and building up the coming conflicts. Despite being made up of a lot of new footage the trailer does a marvelous job at sticking with the characters that have already been established. Therefore giving nothing away. Apart from the odd Stormtrooper here and there, everyone we see is familiar.

The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire. The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, with guest stars Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito. Directors for the new season include Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed and Robert Rodriguez. Showrunner Jon Favreau serves as executive producer along with Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson, with Karen Gilchrist serving as co-executive producer.
The new season premieres Friday, 30th October, streaming only on Disney+.
