It feels like its been a while since we’ve had some good news from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Whilst on the small screen we prepare for WandaVision, it seems the movies are moving further and further away.
But Benedict Cumberbatch has swooped in to give fans a glimmer of hope that life is beginning to return to normal.
Speaking with Watch Time India the Sherlock star has confirmed production is soon to start on the upcoming Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of madness.
“I’m in pre-production with the second “Dr Strange” film, which is very exciting. We will start filming in late October or early November.” said Cumberbatch.
Rumours currently point to the film, which is set to be directed by Sam Raimi, shooting here in the UK.
Starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set for a March 25, 2022 release date.
