Variety is reporting that Disney+ are bringing a new series to the Marvel universe. Details of a new series focusing on iconic Marvel character Nick Fury has been confirmed to be gracing the streaming platform and is currently in development, details as to what the plot will be are scarce so far but one big bit of news is that legendary Hollywood actor Samuel L Jackson will star, and let’s be honest could you really see another other actor playing Fury? Nope me either.
Jackson has become famous for playing Fury, the head of the government agency S.H.I.E.L.D, with Samuel first appearing in the post-credits scene in the first Iron Man film in 2008. He has appeared in multiple films within the MCU since, most recently playing Fury in Spider-Man: Far from Home, Avengers: Endgame, and Captain Marvel.
There are also reports coming out that Kyle Bradstreet has been brought on to write and executive produce the series, who has been responsible for shows such as Mr Robot.
There is no details of release as yet as we are still waiting to hear if the series will get a green light but with there being a few Marvel shows announced of late I’m pretty sure we won’t be waiting long.
