Disney+ is gearing up for the return of its flagship series, The Mandalorian, on October 30. Today the company has given fans a first look via a new article in Entertainment Weekly.
As part of that article it has been confirmed that season 2 will consist of eight episodes. The first is direct by series creator Jon Favreau. The episode will mark the directors debut behind-the-camera for the Star Wars franchise.
We know that Dave Filoni is also directing at least one episode this season. News on other directors is yet to be confirmed.
Written by Iron Man‘s Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte. The series debuts new episodes weekly on Disney+.
