On Thursday, PlayStation Studios took to the PlayStation 5 event in order to announce Sackboy: A Big Adventure, a 3-D platformer serving as a spin-off to the LittleBigPlanet series!
One of my favorite video game series of all time is LittleBigPlanet. LittleBigPlanet was a PlayStation exclusive family platformer game set in a 2-D environment, but with modern 3-D graphics. In the games, PlayStation gamers took control of a fully customizable “sack-figure” as they ventured through many exquisite levels featuring beautiful environments and amazing parkour sequences.
On Thursday, it was announced that Sackboy has returned! According to PlayStation Blog, Sumo Digital is bringing back who I think is the cutest videogame protagonist of all time, with a game titled none other than Sackboy: A Big Adventure! I am really looking forward to this game, given the fact that there hasn’t been a new LittleBigPlanet title since 2014’s LittleBigPlanet 3. It’s likely that fans are interested for the series to receive this additional installment, considering how far the gaming industry has come since 2014, in terms of technical aspects of games and their graphics. I am excited to see where this adventure will take us as PlayStation fans.
