It’s no secret that the Coronavirus pandemic has caused havoc with plenty of our favourite TV series. Many of The CW’s DCTV series will be using their last episodes completed as new season finales.
The Flash will be ending its sixth season with episode 19, due to air on May 12. The network has release a brief synopsis for the episode which teases that Iris will still be trapped in the mirror universe as we head towards a potentially shocking cliff-hanger.
“THE FLASH” SEASON FINALE – Barry (Grant Gustin) considers a risky plan to save Iris (Candice Patton) from the Mirrorverse. Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) attempts to stop Sue (guest star Natalie Dreyfuss) from making a grave mistake that could destroy her life. Phil Chipera directed the episode written by Kelly Wheeler & Lauren Barnett.”
With three episodes lost from the season we could end with Iris still trapped in the mirror and plenty of plot lines left hanging as we go in to the off-season break.
The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West-Allen, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cicso Ramon, Tom Cavanagh Harrison Wells, and Jesse L. Martin as Joe West. The series airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
