It’s been a couple of weeks since we’ve seen any set photos from Matt Reeves The Batman in London.
Filming started out very much out in the open before moving indoors and out of the sight of prying camera lenses. As yet nobody has been lucky enough to sneak a look at Robert Pattinson suited up as Batman and that looks even less likely as production is set to move indoors.
The Cardington Sheds fan twitter account (first shared by Batman-News) has shared a letter sent to local residents regarding an upcoming Warner Bros. shoot will start on February 12.
Dear Residents/Businesses,
We are currently working on the production of a new Warner Bros feature film. I am writing to inform you that we intend to film at Cardington Hanger 1, Cardington Airfield, Bedford, MK42 0TF, between Wednesday 12th and Thursday 27th February 2020.
All of our filming will take place withing Hanger 1. You may see an increase in large vehicle movement entering and exiting the site in order to facilitate our filming.
The majority of filming is scheduled to take place during daytime hours, although some days filming may extend to around 2100hrs.
Our aim is to cause as little disruption to the neighbourhood as possible. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any queries or concerns either before or during filming.
Bedford Borough Council have been notified of our proposed filming.
Written and directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman is set to star Robert Pattinson in the title role, Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon and Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/Nygma.
The Batman is due for release on June 25, 2021.
