Marvel releases new BLACK WIDOW “Legacy” featurette

Following this morning’s new trailer for Black Widow, Marvel Studios has now released a short featurette detailing the character’s time in the MCU. The video (below) includes interview footage with Scarlett Johansson and Kevin Feige as they discuss the development of the character over her decade within the universe.

A new synopsis, also released today, reads:

In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller “Black Widow,” Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.

Black Widow will see the return of Scarlett Johansson as Natasha/Black Widow, Florence Pugh stars as Yelena, David Harbour portrays Alexei/The Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz is Melina.. The film is due to release on May 1, 2020 from Marvel Studios.
