Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot have rocked the stage at CCXP in Sao Paolo, Brazil, tonight by bringing the first trailer for Wonder Woman 1984.
The panel, which in a first for the convention, was live streamed across the globe via Twitter. Thousands of fans were decked out in their best cosplay for the event which also saw the debut of several new character posters for the film.
Whilst the trailer doesn’t give us our first look at Cheetah, director Patty Jenkins discussed how many of the films looks were crafted using prosthetics. She did admit that at certain points in the film Barbara Minerva did have to be augmented using VFX.
Gal Gadot discussed her excitement as how the film opted to use many more practical sets and stunts rather than rely on CGI. Though it seems the film was a gruelling task to film we think you’ll agree from this trailer that it looks awesome!
Here’s a look at those new character posters featuring Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal), Barbara Minerva (Kristen Wiig), Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) and, of course, Diana herself.
