It’s been almost a year since we had a new episode of BBC’s Doctor Who, with the latest original episode airing on New Year’s Day 2019. But over the weekend the BBC has debuted the first trailer for the upcoming 12th series of the long-running show.
Series 12 will debut on screens early in 2020 and looks set to build on the foundation of Jodie Whittaker’s new Doctor laid out in series 11. Returning show runner Chris Chibnall has already confirmed that work has begun on series 13, putting fans minds at tease about the future of the show.
The trailer features fresh looks at The Doctor and her supporting cast as well as returning villains The Cybermen and also the Judoon. Check it out in the player below.
