Last week we brought you details of the soundtrack release for season 1 of HBO’s Watchmen. The score, by Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, is being released on vinyl but volume one is now also available to stream.
The soundtrack is available on all major platforms and features plenty of instantly recognisable pieces heard in the first three episodes of the series.
Reznor recently sat down with Rolling Stone and discussed crafting the music for the series describing it as “something that set an aggressive, sort of sleazy tone” for the show.

Watchmen stars Jeremy Irons, Regina King, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Tom Mison, Adelaide Clemens, Andrew Howard, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, Lily Rose Smith, and Adelynn Spoon. The series has been developed for TV by Damon Lindleof.
