The ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’ crossover event might be one of the biggest and most ambitious event on television. Despite not knowing that much about it, just the casting alone suggests how big this 5 night crossover will be.
News recently broke out that Tom Welling will be reprising his role as Clark Kent- you can read more about this here. The rumor surrounding Durance’s involvement was soon confirmed by Lois Lane herself when she shared the news on her Instagram.
Tom Welling and Erica Durance will indeed be returning as Clark Kent and Lois Lane. This also means that they should hopefully meet Supergirl‘s version of the iconic couple- Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch. If that wasn’t enough, Brandon Routh will also be returning as Superman, a Superman supposedly inspired by Kingdom Come.
At this stage we don’t have any details on how Clark and Lois will enter the story. However, we have been promised that we will find out what they have been up to since Smallville ended.
With news such as this, who is to say that the cameos and special appearances stop there? The entire Crossover seems fairly secretive still so there is a decent chance that a lot is being withheld.

Crisis On Infinite Earths begins on December 8, 2019 with Supergirl and continues with Batwoman on December 9 and The Flash on December 10. The five-part crossover concludes with Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow both airing on January 14, 2020.
