TOMB RAIDER is returning to our screens in March 2021
Remember back in March 2018 when Tomb Raider returned to cinemas starring Alicia Vikander? That film went on to gross $275m worldwide and now we finally have news on a sequel!
Yesterday it was announced that a second film, which we’ll call Tomb Raider 2 for now, will be hitting cinemas on March 21, 2021. That’s a solid three year gap between releases.
We’ve been hearing for some time that the creative team were working on a script for the sequel but now we know that A Field in England director Ben Wheatley will be taking over from Roar Uthaug.
Deadline reports that production is set to begin early in 2020 with Vikander signed on to return to the role.
