After grossing a colossal $1.435 billion at the worldwide box office THE LION KING has become the 9th highest grossing movie of all time.

Box Office Mojo place The Lion King just above Avengers: Age of Ultron but just below Furious 7 which grossed just $81 million more. However, with The Lion King still in cinema it is possible that it could dethrone Furious 7 and potentially Avengers.
