Hall H was electric on Saturday. Head of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, took to the panel to introduce many of the new films and shows coming in 2020 and 2021.
While The Eternals was announced quite a while ago, we finally have some concrete information on it.
The Eternals will follow a species of ancient and genetically modified beings, which were created by the Celestials, who devote themselves to protecting Earth and the human race. Depending on when this film is actually set, think of it as a prequel to, not only the Avengers, but the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The full cast of The Eternals was also announced:
- Richard Madden as Ikaris
- Angelina Jolie as Thena
- Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo
- Lauren Ridloff as Makkari
- Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos
- Salma Hayek as Ajak
- Lia McHugh as Sprite
- Don Lee as Gilgamesh, The Forgotten one
The Eternals is set to start filming in London next fall and will be released on November 6th 2020.
