San Diego Comic-Con was a wild one for fans this year. We got a lot of surprising announcements and I don’t think many people anticipated a new version of Blade.
It has been a long time since we have seen Blade in live-action. The last time we saw him he was being played by Wesley Snipes, but now Blade has a new face.
Mahershala Ali, known for his role in Moonlight, Alita: Battle Angel, and Into the Spider-verse, will be taking on the role of Blade.
What is interesting is that it was not revealed whether Blade would be joining Phase 4 on the big screen or through the Disney Streaming Service, like Wandavision and Loki.
I would like to think that Blade will be joining Phase 4 on the big screen but with no details and no release date, it is incredibly difficult to tell. One thing is certain, we will definitely see Blade in some capacity.
