In surprising news, it has been announced that Sarah Paulson (most recently of Glass) will NOT be starring in the upcoming season of American Horror Story, joining Evan Peters on the missing cast list.
Paulson has been a mainstay of the anthology series since the beginning, after having her part extended dramatically following her guest-starring appearance in the first season “Murder House”.
Variety reports;
“Paulson will not appear in a significant role in the FX anthology series’
Clock the use of significant there, as it seems likely she will get a cameo at some point during the series. Maybe as a wink to say Mrs. Voorhees perhaps?
American Horror Story:1984 will premiere on September 18th.
