Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan are back for another adventure in Jumanji: The Next Level.
The major difference this time is that they won’t be entering Jumanji like they did last time. This time, the notion of “Avatars” is being taken to the next level when Danny DeVito and Danny Glover join the team and end up switching bodies. Now, Kevin Hart is Danny Glover, Dwayne Johnson is Danny DeVito, and Jack Black is no longer a teenage girl with a mobile phone addiction.
Jumanji: The Next Level, directed by Jake Kasdan, is out this Christmas (a week before Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker) and promises even more laughs and a brand new setting with entirely new challenges and animals to face as they battle their way through Jumanji yet again.
As someone who wasn’t overly fond of the first film, I have to say that I actually thoroughly enjoyed this trailer. While it does offer pretty much the same as the previous Jumanji, I think the mix up with the characters might add a little flare to the brand new action adventure.
