It looks as though another member of the original Ghostbusters cast is returning for Jason Reitman’s 2020 sequel.
In an interview with Parade (via CBR.com) Sigourney Weaver has confirmed that she will return to the role of Dana Barrett. This latest confirmation follows the news that Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray are also set to return.
“It’s going to be crazy working with the guys again,” Weaver said.
Little is known about the new movie aside from that it will focus on a new generation of recruits to the ghost busting team.
Ghostbusters 3 is set to star Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon and Mckenna Grace. The movie is scheduled for release on July 20, 2020.
