Last night we were invited to the Sony offices in London for a screening of upcoming superhero-horror movie Brightburn. Whilst we were deep in to our screening Patty Jenkins, Gal Gadot and Warner Bros. were dropping this intensely colourful first poster for Wonder Woman 1984.
Warner Bros. has confirmed that it’s movie arm will be skipping Hall H at this year’s San Diego Comic Con. But that didn’t stop Jenkins from sharing this awesome poster artwork featuring Gal Gadot in new, gold, armour.
Comic book fans will no doubt see the resemblance to Wonder Woman’s Golden Eagle armour which she sometimes sports in the comics.
Gal Gadot returns in the role of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in Wonder Woman 1984. The film also stars Kristen Wiig in the role of the Super-Villain The Cheetah, as well as Pedro Pascal. And Chris Pine returns as Steve Trevor. The film is directed by Patty Jenkins.
Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, Patty Jenkins, Stephen Jones and Gal Gadot are producing the film. Rebecca Roven Oakley, Richard Suckle, Wesley Coller, Geoff Johns and Walter Hamada are the executive producers.
Wonder Woman 1984 is set to hit cinemas on June 5, 2020.
