Michael Rooker in talks to join THE SUICIDE SQUAD as King Shark

Overnight The Wrap has been reporting that a former Guardian of the Galaxy is in talks to move over to the DC Universe.
According to their report Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead) is deep in talks with Warner Bros. to join James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad and take on the role of King Shark.
If a deal comes to pass this would be Rooker’s fifth movie with Gunn, following the both Guardians of the Galaxy movies, Slither, and Super.
King Shark was created by Karl Kesel in the 1990s and is perhaps most famous for his appearances on the small screen in The Flash.
The Suicide Squad (aka Suicide Squad 2)is aiming for an August 6, 2020 release date.
