DC Universe releases extended trailer for SWAMP THING

Following last week’s short teaser DC Universe has today debuted the first full length trailer for Swamp Thing. Following rumours that the streaming platform was in danger of folding and was trying to bury the production it certainly seems like they’ve got another hit on their hands.

It’s also clear from the trailer that James Wan is successfully returning to his horror roots!

When CDC researcher Abby Arcane returns to her childhood home of Houma, Louisiana, in order to investigate a deadly swamp-borne virus, she develops a surprising bond with scientist Alec Holland — only to have him tragically taken from her. But as powerful forces descend on Houma, intent on exploiting the swamp’s mysterious properties for their own purposes, Abby will discover that the swamp holds mystical secrets, both horrifying and wondrous — and the potential love of her life may not be dead after all.

Swamp Thing will premiere on the DC Universe streaming service on May 31, 2019. The series is set to star Crystal Reed, Andy Bean, Derek Mears, Jennifer Beals, Henderson Wade, Will Patton, Virginia Madsen, Jeryl Prescott, Henderson Wade and Kevin Durand.
