Camren Bicondova pens emotional letter on GOTHAM series finale absence

Camren Bicondova

By now fans will be aware that actress Camren Bicondova won’t be appearing in next week’s series finale of Gotham. Leaked photos several weeks ago confirmed that a different actress – Lili Simmons – will be taking over the role when the series jumps 10 years in to the future.

Bicondova has portrayed the character for the past 5 seasons on Gotham, bringing a nuanced performance to the troubled teen. Many will be sad to see her hand over the reigns to another actress but understand it was done for the right reasons.

“The Beginning…” airs next Thursday on FOX in North America and brings the long running crime drama to a close after 100 episodes.

Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock and David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne. The series also stars Robin Lord Taylor as Penguin, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean and Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth.

The series airs on FOX Thursdays at 8/7c.
