Back in 1982 director Wes Craven released a movie by the name of Swamp Thing. That movie starred Louis Jordan and Adrienne Barbeau. On release it was met with mixed reviews but went on to become something of a cult classic in the home video scene.
Whilst Jordan would go on to star in 1989’s The Return of Swamp Thing, Barbeau moved on to other ventures. DC Comics fans may know her best as Selina Kyle/Catwoman in Batman the Animated Series.
Now the actress has confirmed that she will be returning to the Swamp Thing franchise in the new series for DC Universe. In a now deleted tweet the actress said:
Happy to be headed back to the swamps! #DCComics#SwampThing#JamesWan#DCUNIVERSE
