It’s no secret that for its series finale Gotham will be jumping ten years into the future. The series aims to take a final look at the city once The Dark Knight and his rogues gallery are fully fledged characters in this universe.
Part of that includes another new look for Cameron Monaghan as The Joker, or Proto-Joker, or whoever he might be.
Monaghan has already portrayed both Jerome and Jeremiah Velaska on the show. With the Feb. 21 episode it looks like his character will finally be falling in to the infamous vat of acid in Ace Chemicals. So could these leaked phots show Jeremiah after he emerges from the acid?

Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock and David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne. The series also stars Robin Lord Taylor as Penguin, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean and Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth.
The series airs on FOX Thursdays at 8/7c.
