Matt Reeves script for THE BATMAN said to be 160 pages long

A new report from THR contains some very interesting information on Matt Reeve’s script for The Batman.

The trade reports that the current draft of the script clocks in at a whopping 160 pages long! In terms of movie run time we would be looking at a near 3 hour epic.

Of course the report goes on to say that Reeves is currently polishing the script and cutting it down to a more palatable length.

The report also comments on actor Josh Gad and his campaign to play Penguin in the upcoming movie. When Reeves was recently asked about Gad’s chances to get the role he had this to say:

“I love Josh Gad,” said Reeves, noting that his son is in class with the actor’s daughter. “We’re good friends.”

The Batman is due for release on June 25, 2021.
