Last week we brought you a new rumour which stated Warner Bros. Animation was quietly working on production for a Batman Beyond animated movie.
Rumours pointed to Warner Bros. looking to recreate the magic of Sony Pictures Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. At the time it was said the movie was being developed for a theatrical release.
Sadly for us those rumours have been denied by absolutely everyone who could be involved with the project.
The Wrap‘s own Umberto Gonzalez claims that DC Films and Warner Bros. Animation as “not true”.

There you have it. Sadly we won’t be seeing Terry McGinnis on the big screen anytime soon. Maybe all the enthusiasm for the rumour will make WB think twice?
