Actor J.K. Simmons (Spider-Man) has been talking about his future as Commissioner Gordon in the DC Films universe. First (and last) seen in 2017’s Justice League it was long believed that Simmons would return in The Batman when it eventually hits cinemas.
But is that still the case?
Speaking with Collider the actor said “There are conversations going on, that I’m not going to make public. As far as I know, there’s no opportunity, in the immediate future, for me to do more Commissioner Gordon, but I continue to be optimistic that it will happen again.”
It seems the actor knows a little more than he’s willing to let on. Do you hope to see Simmons return in Matt Reeve’s The Batman?
