FOX has announced the premiere date for GOTHAM’s final season!

Gotham (FOX)

It seems FOX has finally set a premiere date for Gotham season 5. The Wrap is reporting the network has begun scheduling its midseason premiere dates which includes the debut of Gotham‘s fifth and final season.

At present we understand the show will return on Thursday, January 3, 2019. The fifth season on the long running drama is understood to have 12 episodes, cut from the usual 22. Though that number is yet to be confirmed it would make sense given the timing of the premiere.

Mark your calendars Gotham fans.

Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock and David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne. The series also stars Robin Lord Taylor as Penguin, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean and Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth.

The series returns sometime in 2019.
