Netflix orders DRACULA series from SHERLOCK creative team

Around a year ago Sherlock executive producers Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss were rumoured to be working on a Dracula series. Now we have news that the series has been picked up by Netflix and will go in to production in the near future.
In a joint statement to Variety Gatiss and Moffat said “There have always been stories about great evil, what’s special about Dracula is that Bram Stoker gave evil its own hero.”
It is expected that the new show will follow the structure of Sherlock and feature three 90-minute episodes. As with Bram Stoker’s original novel the series will be set in 19th century London.
No casting news is available as yet.
