Overnight new set photos from season 5 of Gotham appear to be teasing the inclusion of a character from a very famous comic book.
It would seem a version of The Mutant Leader from Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns will be making an appearance. There’s very little context for these photos other than him appearing out in the street during daytime.
The Dark Knight famously faces off against The Mutant Leader and his followers during the bleak future of The Dark Knight Returns comic. If you pushed us for a guess this is a proto-Leader who will go on to inspire the Mutant Gang for years to come.
