Following yesterdays announcement that The Meg star Ruby Rose will be taking on the role of Batwoman in the Arrow-verse the internet has been awash with reactions.
With a Batwoman TV series in development Rose may be with us on the small screen for a number of years to come. Some feel her ethnicity and acting credentials don’t stack up with the presence the character needs on screen. Others are thrilled to have an LGBTQI actress taking on the role.
Regardless of fans thoughts the actress herself is thrilled to have been cast. Overnight she posted an emotional response to the news on her Instagram account:
