Though Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles doesn’t premiere its first season until September we’re already hearing some new about a second season.
The network quietly announced that a full, 26 episode, second season will enter production later this year.
The show had a huge presence at San Diego Comic Con this year with an interactive exhibit on the floor of the convention centre.
Nickelodeon describe the show as following the TMNT gang “as they discover new powers and encounter a mystical world they never knew existed beneath the streets of New York City.”
Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles premieres Monday, September 17 in the US.
