Great news this morning for fans of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as the series is officially renewed.
ABC announced that the series will officially return for a sixth season later in the year. But there’s a catch. The sixth season will currently consist of 13 episodes rather than the usual 22. At this stage it is not clear whether this will be the final season.
Following the cancellation of Marvel’s Inhumans this news is a welcome bonus for Marvel fans.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs at 8 pm ET on ABC. Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Henry Simmons, Ian De Caestecker, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, Elizabeth Henstridge, Nick Blood, Jeff Ward, Eve Harlow, Pruitt Taylor Vince and Coy Stewart star.
