Matt Reeves confirms he is NOT leaving ‘The Batman’

YouTuber John Campea recently stated that he had uncovered a huge story regarding DC Films. Claiming his scoop to be bad news the blogger went on to discuss that he would not be sharing the news himself. In a lengthy rant about not wanting to be a ‘scooper’ Campea made it clear the news would come out eventually.

Fans were of course quick to jump to the conclusion that director Matt Reeves would be exiting his solo Batman movie. Mainstream media sites picked up the non-rumour from Campea and headlines were generated across the web.

Now Reeves himself has taken to Twitter to discount the rumour:

Whilst it remains to be seen when Reeves will finally get cameras rolling on the film fans can at least rest easy that he isn’t going anywhere… yet!
