Some sad news today for the film industry and Batman fans in general. Any fans of the Caped Crusader will have noticed two names appearing in the credits of every film form 1989 onwards. Michael Uslan and Benjamin Melniker.
They have appeared in the credits of any/all Batman related movies becoming synonymous with the character. Saldy Uslan announced via his Facebook page yesterday that his producing partner has passed away. He was 104.
The pair worked tirelessly to bring Batman to the big screen eventually succeeding in 1989 with director Tim Burton. Ever since they have had a hand in every big screen incarnation of the character be it live action or animated.
Our thoughts are with Michael Uslan and the Melniker family.
