It appears that Marvel is finally listening to its fans. Variety has exclusively broken the news that the studio are actively developing a solo film for Black Widow. Jac Schaeffer (TiMER) has been named as currently working on the films script.
Though Variety notes there is no green light for the film naming a writer shows they are seriously looking at moving forwards with the project.
Scarlett Johansson has so far appeared in six Marvel Studios movies including this years Avengers: Infinity War. Following her starring turn in the first Avengers movies fans have been clamouring for her to get a solo film as the First Lady of the MCU.
