This morning Deadline is reporting some interesting new casting info for Hellboy.
The Neil Marshall film is eyeing Resident Evil star Milla Jovovich for the role of the Blood Queen. The actress is no stranger to science fiction having also starred in Ultraviolet and The Fifth Element.
Also of note the film has officially dropped the Rise of the Blood Queen subtitle in all official press. The film is now simply being referred to as Hellboy.
Hellboy is also set to star David Harbour in the lead role. Neil Marshall has signed on to direct the script which was masterminded by Andrew Cosby, Christopher Golden and Mike Mignola. We also understand that Larry Gordon and Lloyd Levin are producing the film alongside Mike Richardson of Dark Horse Entertainment.
