The ‘Titans’ TV series has found its Raven

Work on the DC Comics streaming platform as quietly been continuing since the announcement of its inception. Geoff Johns has teased the production on the live actions Titans series whilst actors from Young Justice have discussed recording dialogue for the shows third season.
Today – via Deadline – we have our first casting news for Titans. Thirteen year-old Australian newcomer Teagan Croft will be taking the role of Rachel Roth a.k.a. Raven.
Deadline describes Raven as the daughter of a demon and a powerful empath who needs to keep her emotions in check. Sounds fairly comic accurate to us.
No news on other members of the cast as yet.
Titans is produced by Greg Berlanti, Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Sarah Schechter and Warner Bros TV. The show is slated to premiere sometime in 2018.
