SDCC 2017: ‘Doctor Doom’ film in development at Fox

There’s nothing quite like San Diego Comic Con to give you an unexpected surprise!
After the disaster of Josh Trank’s 2015 F4ntastic the cinematic future of Marvel’s first family seemed in peril. With Kevin Feige and the Marvel team not overly interested in regaining the property it seemed they may remain in development hell for the foreseeable future.
However a little light appeared at the end of the tunnel last night in the shape of Noah Hawley. Creator of the Marvel TV series Legion and also the hit series Fargo.
As last nights panel for Legion season 2 was winding down Hawley trolled the audience with a jaw dropping revelation about other projects he is working on.
“I’ll just say two words. The first one is Doctor and the next one is Doom,”
We have no more news on this project now. Presumably Fox is looking for a new way to tackle the franchise in order to make it a success. We’ll be keeping a close eye on this one!
