First official look Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft

Today we’ve got our first official look at Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft! Earlier this year photos from the set of ‘Tomb Raider’ leaked online. Now we have an official look at the character in action and it’s clear where this film is taking its inspiration.

From the outfit to the weapons and the location it would see that 2018’s ‘Tomb Raider’ will follow the storyline of the game franchise most recent reboot. We still know very little about the story and extended cast for the film but with shooting well underway we expect leaks to soon begin.

‘Tomb Raider’ stars Alicia Vikander (‘The Danish Girl’) as Lara Croft. Vikander will be joined by Daniel Wu (‘Warcraft’), Walton Goggins (‘Django Unchained’) and Dominic West (‘300’) as Lord Richard Croft. The film is directed by Roar Uthaug based on a script from Geneva Robertson-Dworet and will hit cinemas on March 16^th 2018.
