#DCWEEK has been going incredibly well for comics fans. We’ve seen the return of ‘Arrow’ and ‘The Flash’ from their winter breaks; ‘Supergirl’ returned for a fresh episode after a week off, ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ is making its premiere on Thursday and had its own behind the scenes special on Tuesday. Then to top it all we got our first look at the new ‘Suicide Squad’ trailer (check it out here) and if that wasn’t enough we got our first footage from the new ‘Wonder Woman’ film!!!
Yes DC fans during the ‘DC Films Presents Dawn of the Justice League’ special on The CW on Tuesday hosts Kevin Smith and Geoff Johns turned the discussion from the upcoming ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ to the upcoming ‘Wonder Woman’ film now confirmed for release on June 23, 2017.
Directed by Patty Jenkins, ‘Wonder Woman’ stars Gal Gadot in the title role, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya, Connie Nielsen and Lucy Davis. The script for ‘Wonder Woman’ is written by Michael Goldenberg and Jason Fuchs.
