We apologise for being a little behind the times but here’s the first trailer to be released for the upcoming ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2’ which we now know to be subtitled ‘Out of the Shadows’ – not to be confused with the 2013 video game of the same name. Featuring the first live action appearances of Beebop and Rocksteady (and maybe Krang?!) and features ‘Arrow’ star Stephen Amell as Casey Jones. The film is due for release on 3rd June 2016 in the US.
The early plot synopsis reads:
The Turtles comes into conflict of T.G.R.I. scientist Dr. Baxter Stockman with the association of the Foot Clan and the return of their enemy, the Shredder, who has hired Stockman to create mutants of their own in the form of Bebop and Rocksteadyand a unknown invasion above New York City. To prevent the end of the world, the turtles and their human friends April O’Neil and Vern Fenwick comes to the aid with vigilante Casey Jones.
‘Out of the Shadows’ stars Megan Fox, Will Arnett, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard, Stephen Amell, Tyler Perry, Brian Tee, Laura Linney, Sheamus, and Gary Anthony Williams and comes from director Dave Green. The film is produced by Michael Bay, Brad Fuller, Andrew Form, Galen Walker and Scott Medick from a script by writers: Josh Applebaum & André Nemec who penned the first film.
