This week saw the release of ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ #44 from IDW Comics and within mere minutes of release the word began to spread about a shocking TMNT death.
Yes the panel to your left seemingly gives away that Dontallo is killed off during the battle of the Technodrome.
Sadly our copy hasn’t arrived a GYCO Tower as yet so we’ve not read the story for ourselves but news sites are reporting that after taking a serious beating from Rocksteady, Donatello is left bloodied, battered and dying in the arms of Master Splinter.
IDW has been putting some serious PR work by setting the wheels in motion for what it is calling the ‘final storyline’ to begin in issue #50 but for now the company is keeping quiet about the future of my favourite turtle.
