Since its first telecast in the United States in September 1969, Sesame Street has evolved entirely. With more than 30 international editions, each with its own unique characters and flavour, Sesame Street is a triumph. In fact, it’s one of the biggest children’s television show in the world. The show has even been broadcast in more than 120 countries. That’s right, 120 countries. The U.S. version has won 97 Emmy Awards — more than any other show.
The feature documentary provides exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and more than 20 original interviews from Joan Ganz Cooney, Jim Henson (creator of The Muppets), Caroll Spinney, Frank Oz, and more.
